You will be working closely with system architect on setting up and maintaining resilient application infrastructure.
Your tasks will include:
- automating continuous deployment processes
- application architecture implementation and design
- setting up monitoring channels and alerts
- over-viewing network of Linux based embedded devices
- management of automated backups processes

Personality requirements and skills
Required Skills and Experience:
- Linux administration – expert knowledge. This includes: setting up servers of various Linux flavours (Debian, Ubuntu, CentOs), bash scripting, GIT management, permissions management, user’s management (LDAP), VPNs, SSL keys management, disk encryption…
- Bash – strong experience is essential. Other scripting languages are beneficial.
- Database administration – basic administration of MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB or other noSQL DB is beneficial
- Networking and setting up web production platforms – having general overview about scalable & resilient setups, data mirroring, load balancing, DNS management, IP tables…
- Virtualisation – experience with AWS, Docker, KVM, Kubernetes, OpenShift, Terraform or OpenStack is highly beneficial
- Personality: to be an organized person who can keep excellent documentation about the infrastructure, maintain security policies and PROACTIVELY seek for potential issues and possible improvements.
- Communicative English is needed, Slovak is not required
- Independence and responsibility
